Spend an evening training with Barry Shapiro, one of NYC's most experienced casting directors.

With a very small class of just 10 students, you'll learn commercial techniques from Barry's point of view and work on numerous pieces of copy as Barry provides direction as well as tips and techniques for on-camera commercial auditions. Barry will impart his casting wisdom which comes with 30 years in the business and casting over 7500 spots.  This is an opportunity to work closely with Barry as the class size will be no larger than 10 students.  After this workshop he will definitely know who you are and what you can do on-camera.

Barry is co-owner of Herman & Lipson Casting, which has cast over 7500 commercials and commercial print for products that recently included L'Oreal, American Express, MasterCard, Advil, Verizon, Clinique, Mazda, Nintendo, BMW, Kohl's Department Stores, New York Life Insurance, Lipton, and many other top accounts. He also casts for film, television, and theatre. Prior to being a casting director, Barry was a producer for a top fashion commercial director working with every top model in the industry. Herman & Lipson Casting cast for film, TV, theater, commercials, industrials. And...he loves the color purple.
